If you are seeking a full-day summer program, looking for supplemental academic programs, an athletic workshop, or want to try your hand at an arts class, you'll find it here.

How do I register for Hammond Summer Programs?
Please visit Hammond’s website at hammondschool.org, click Summer Programs under the Campus Life tab at the top of the webpage to access our online registration system. Registration for all Summer Programs must be completed online through the registration system. Our online registration will help make the process quick and easy. After registering for one program, all general information repopulates and families may use their username and password to add or change contact and account information including credit card payment. A non-refundable deposit of $75 per full-day program and $50 for all other programs is required at the time of registration; however you may also elect to pre-pay in full. The non-refundable deposit is not transferrable. All balances are to be paid in full one week prior to the scheduled program, camp, or offering start date. Remaining balances will be charged to accounts automatically through the online registration system. Registrations for any summer program offering scheduled 7 days or less from the start date must be paid in full at time of registration. Hammond only accepts payment through electronic funds transfer, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Will I receive a receipt or confirmation?
Upon successful online registration and payment, families will receive an email confirmation immediately from the online registration system. An email with details about the program, onsite check-in, and other important reminders will be communicated electronically one week prior to the start of the scheduled summer program to the email address listed on the online account that is provided throughout the registration process. Receipts/invoices may be emailed to the email address listed on the online account upon request. Please email receipt/invoice requests to Kevin N. White, Director of Auxiliary Programs at kwhite@hammondschool.org.

Are Hammond Summer Programs open to non-Hammond students and adults?
Yes. Hammond welcomes students 3 years old through 12th grade including adults. Bring your friends, families, and neighbors!

In order to switch to a different program or receive a refund for a canceled summer program, families must contact the Director of Auxiliary Programs via email. Registration fees are non-refundable. What if my child has allergies?
If your child has anaphylactic allergies or other health needs, please contact the Auxiliary Programs Office at 803.776.0295, ext. 2002. Families are to provide an action plan along with an epi-pen on the first day of their child’s scheduled camp or program. All items will be returned on the last day of their child’s scheduled camp or program.

What does my child need to bring to camp?
In addition to bringing a water bottle, we suggest participants bring a small backpack to hold all of their belongings. Hammond Summer Programs drawstring backpacks are available for purchase for only $5 while supplies last. Participants attending our Hawk Ridge Camp are to bring a small backpack with their items clearly labeled with their first and last names. Hawk Ridge Campers are to bring an extra change of clothes, a towel, a bottle of sunscreen, and a swimsuit to camp. Participants attending an athletic workshop, or camp will need to bring necessary items associated with that particular sport. At Hammond, safety of all participants and campers are our top priority! Due to health and safety reasons, all participants and campers are required to bring a water bottle with them to camp or their program each day. It is permitted for campers and participants to use their personal (non-Hammond Summer Programs) water bottle. However, campers and participants that arrive to camp without a water bottle will be provided a Hammond Summer Programs water bottle, and the family will be charged through their online registration account for the cost of the water bottle. Families will be notified of their account being charged for the water bottle immediately. If we no longer have water bottles in stock the camper’s family will be contacted to bring one in order for the camper to remain at camp. If you have any questions, please contact the Auxiliary Programs Office at 803.776.0295, ext. 2002.

I want to purchase a few Hammond Summer Programs apparel and accessory items. How do I order them? Could I wait and purchase a few items later this summer?
Hammond Summer Programs apparel and accessories are available for purchase throughout the online registration process, at our on-site check-in/registration each Monday morning, and there is an online order form listed on our Summer Programs website. Sizing information for Hammond Summer Programs t-shirts and sun visors are included throughout the online Summer Programs registration process, and listed on the online order form. Families could wait to purchase summer apparel and accessory items later this summer, but all summer items are only available while supplies last. Be sure to order your summer apparel and accessory items today!

Where and when do participants need to check-in the week of their scheduled camp or program? If I have not registered for a camp or program, and there is still availability, could I register at Hammond?

Participants registered to attend afternoon programs (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM) are required to check-in on Monday’s in the Lower School Gym between 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM. Are snacks provided by Hammond Summer Programs?
No. Due to the variety of allergies and food sensitivities we encounter, we do not provide food to participants and campers. Hammond Summer Programs will have a variety of snacks, drinks and other foods available for purchase each day at the Snack Shacks located on campus. The Snack Shacks are located at the Hammond Baseball Stadium concession stand and at the Hawk’s Nest. These concession stands are open to all campers and participants enrolled in a summer program as well as Hammond faculty and staff. Campers will be given an opportunity to visit the concession stands daily. Families interested in their child purchasing snacks from the concession stand each day must select and purchase one of the Snack Shack plans throughout the registration process. Campers and participants may choose to bring a small snack instead of purchasing their snacks from the concession stands.

Is lunch provided by Hammond Summer Programs?
Hammond Summer Programs does not provide lunch to campers and participants. However, campers and participants registered in any of our full-day summer camps and programs are to bring a bag lunch each day, or order a Skyhawk bag lunch.
