Camp Cayuga is a coed nonsectarian sleepaway camp located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania. Family owned and operated since 1963, Cayuga caters to normal average children of the ages 6 to 16. Our success is directly related to the quality of our staff, who are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment for our campers. Each camper is under the close care and direct supervision of at least 2 cabin counselors. The youngest counselor is entering sophomore year of college. Cayuga's staff is comprised of 135 counselors and over 40 senior staff, who assist our counselors and supervise various areas of the camp's program. Our senior staff are professional educators, teachers, nurses, and coaches. The staff/camper ratio is 1 to 4. All staff attend a one-week orientation for qualifying and training prior to the campers' arrival.

SEEKING ACTIVITY DIRECTORS: We are seeking multi-talented energetic counselors who can provide quality instruction from beginner to advanced levels in two or more land sports. Instruction is geared to the camper's individual skill level, and is patient and thorough with due regard for both safety and enjoyment. Cayuga's Daily Program offers activities in Athletics (tennis, basketball, etc), Water Sports (scuba diving clinics, sailing, etc), Creative Arts (pottery, ceramics, etc), Performing Arts (drama, music, etc), Media Arts (radio DJ, video camera, etc), Adventure & Wilderness (survival clinic, ropes course, etc), Extreme Sports (bungee jumping, ATVs, paintball, etc), Horseback Riding (horse care, jumping, etc), Flying Trapeze and Circus Arts, and more. All Activity Instructors are trained, evaluated, and qualified by their Activity Director, who heads-up the activity department.
SEEKING ACTIVITY DIRECTORS: We are seeking mature individuals to fulfill various activity directorship positions including: Athletic Directors, Tennis Director (USTA professional), Intercamp Tournament Directors, Activity Supervisors, Horsemanship Director, Pool Directors, Lake Director, Adventure & Wilderness Director, Flying Trapeze Director, Circus Director, Creative Arts Directors, Pottery Director, Performing Arts Director, and Extreme Sports Director.
