Camp Cayuga is a coed nonsectarian sleepaway camp located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania. Family owned and operated since 1963, Cayuga caters to normal average children of the ages 6 to 16. Our success is directly related to the quality of our staff, who are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment for our campers. Each camper is under the close care and direct supervision of at least 2 cabin counselors. The youngest counselor is entering sophomore year of college. Cayuga's staff is comprised of 135 counselors and over 40 senior staff, who assist our counselors and supervise various areas of the camp's program. Our senior staff are professional educators, teachers, nurses, and coaches. The staff/camper ratio is 1 to 4. All staff attend a one-week orientation for qualifying and training prior to the campers' arrival.

SEEKING CHEFS & COOKS: We are seeking food service professionals who have experience and expertise in quantity food production, and the qualifications to fulfill the following positions: Food Service Director, First Chef, Second Cooks, and Dining Hall Manager. The Food Service Manager is responsible for the overall kitchen and dining hall operations. This includes maintaining & controlling inventories; ordering food/beverages; following camp menu and meal planners; managing chefs, cooks, and kitchen crew; kitchen/dining hall cleanliness; and preparation, serving, and storage of all food items. The chefs are experienced in quantity food production, and are responsible for maintaining a high quality food service as per the menu provided. Chefs also provide special meals for those with dietary restrictions (vegetarians, gluton-free, lactose intolerant), as well as assist in managing the kitchen crew. The Cooks are responsible for preparing meals; stocking the steam tables; portion control; maintaining organized coolers, freezers, and food storage areas; and dining hall/kitchen security. The Dining Hall Manager is responsible for cleanliness and general organization of the dining hall services.
FOOD SERVICE FACILITIES: Main kitchen and dining hall on Junior Campus; satellite kitchen and dining hall on Teen Campus; walkin coolers; walkin freezers; dry food storage area; chemical storage area; dishwashing room; and kitchen equipment including skillet, convention ovens, pizza ovens, grills, burners, fryolators, mixers, slicers, and more.
