Animal Camp Counselor

Date Posted: 11/07/2016

Over 300 animals, a 6-element ropes course, archery and riflery ranges, and an arts and crafts studio is just a small taste of what our camp has to offer! Cub Creek Science Camp is a summer sleep-away camp set upon a 250 acre estate. We are dedicated to making lifelong memories and enriching the lives of all campers ages 7-17. After 25 years, we have had counselors and campers join us from all over the world, facilitated thousands of strong friendships, and introduced countless individuals to some of the wonderful animals we share this planet with. Counselors at all camps get experience in leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, but at Cub Creek our counselors also get to add Animal Experience to their resume'. Counselors interested in spending time with animals will teach classes in our animal area. Imagine helping kids learn about lemurs, sloths, alpacas, wallabies, snakes, foxes, porcupines, goats, and minature horses! Sounds cool, right?

All of our counselors will teach and lead classes to our campers in all of our wide variety of activity options. We do not require counselors to have any prior experience with our postions as we train all of our staff in the areas that they will be leading in the summer during our staff training.

Camp Season 2017 is May 21st through August 12th. Please double check your school/work dates.

You must have graduated High School prior to the start of camp.

We look forward to hearing from you!
