Camp Cayuga is a coed nonsectarian sleepaway camp located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania. Family owned and operated since 1963, Cayuga caters to normal average children of the ages 6 to 16. Our success is directly related to the quality of our staff, who are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment for our campers. Each camper is under the close care and direct supervision of at least 2 cabin counselors. The youngest counselor is entering sophomore year of college. Cayuga's staff is comprised of 135 counselors and over 40 senior staff, who assist our counselors and supervise various areas of the camp's program. Our Senior Staff are professional educators, teachers, nurses, and coaches. The staff/camper ratio is 1 to 4. All staff attend a one-week orientation for qualifying and training prior to the campers' arrival.

SEEKING POTTERY & CERAMICS INSTRUCTORS: We are seeking artistically-creative and talented individuals to lead our Creative Arts Program, which features a broad spectrum of activities that provide campers the opportunity to artistically express themselves. The Creative Arts Staff is comprised of four Directors (2 on each campus) who are certified art teachers with experience managing diverse art programs, and 20+ university-level instructors who are majoring in art and/or have documented experience teaching all levels of art expression to children of all ages.
CREATIVE ARTS ACTIVITIES: Arts & crafts, pottery (throwing pots), pottery wheel operation, ceramics (glazing & firing), kiln operation, clay work (sculpting), t-shirt creations (tye dyeing, air brushing, fabric painting, & silk screening), painting (water color & acrylics), drawing, sketching (charcoal pencils), jewelry making, beading, basket weaving, lanyards & braiding, leather craft, macramé, paper mache & plaster projects, wood projects, copper enameling, block printing, needle craft, mask making, decoupage, model rocketry, nature crafts, and cooking classes.
CREATIVE ARTS FACILITIES: Creative Arts Center on Junior Campus; Teen Campus Art Pavilion; Pottery room with 15 pottery wheels; Sculpting rooms with 4 kilns; and T-Shirt factory room. To see a complete list of all facilities, refer to the Facility List on our website.
