Tripp Lake Camp is a traditional residential girl's camp, which is situated on 260 gorgeous acres of woods, fields and lakefront. 320 campers, ages 7-16, and 180 staff, enjoy 7 weeks (8 for staff) in the beautiful state of Maine. Those interested in being Rocks/Ropes/ODL Counselors must have ability to teach rock climbing, as well as outdoor living skills such as camping, fire building, and cooking. You will also be trained to facilitate groups on the ropes initiative course.

Rocks, Ropes, And Outdoor Living Counselors:
*facilitate campers to learn their teamwork and leadership techniques
*plan lessons to help campers practice teamwork, develop self-confidence and have fun doing it
*teach rock climbing techniques
*teach belaying techniques
*help campers navigate the ropes course
*teach campers the basics of camping (setting up a tent, making a fire, etc.)
*lead campers on overnight or day trips outside of camp
