Special Needs Camp: Cancer/Oncology

Camp Carefree is a free summer camp for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities. We offer weeks for Cancer, Epilepsy, JRA, Spina Bifida, Hemophilia, Turner Syndrome, Well siblings, and well children who have a chronically ill parent.

Girls gain courage, confidence, and charactor while participating in activities including rock climbing, swimming, archery, boating, challenge course, arts and crafts and more! Girls make friend and have experiences that will last a lifetime.

Summer and track-out camp for ages 5 and up. Activities include horseback riding and access to the jungle gym, and swimming pool. Children will learn horse husbandry and care, how to tack up, and how to ride western style on our beautiful, wooded trails.

Camp Kanuga is an Episcopal camp for boys and girls in the mountains of western North Carolina. Offering campouts, outdoor education, climbing, sports, archery, aquatics, performing arts, Christian exploration, arts and crafts, and music.

Full day drama and visual arts program for K-6 students. Each week-long camp features a theatrical performance produced by students. Kids learn stage presence, public speaking, set and costume design, script writing, and theatre lighting in an impressive theatre facility.

Features a five day camp in which high school students can participate in the Drum Major Track, Leadership Track, or Marching Percussion Track. Students may attend sessions with nationally known educators including Bobby Lambert, Jenny Stowers, and Matt Henley.

Eagle's Nest Camp is a nurturing community tucked away in the Southern Appalachians of North Carolina. Our mission is to help youths ages 6 to 17 discover their true selves. Eagle's Nest activities promote community awareness, a connection with nature, and a healthy and joyful lifestyle.
