The Learning Camp

The Learning Camp has been building confidence and academic success since 1996 by combining tutoring with traditional summer adventures. We are the original Rocky Mountain camp for boys and girls 7-14 with ADD, ADHD, dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Located in the Vail Valley of Colorado, travel from all over the USA and the world to experience friendships, adventures and academic preparation for the school year ahead.

Camp Facilities

Please see our website for information about our facilities. We are located on The Ute Springs Ranch and have a modern lodge, 2 bathhouses, laundry facilities, a commercial kitchen, and an infirmary. Campers enjoy thousands of forest acres of hiking trails, horseback riding trails, and fresh stream pond for swimming.

Camp Staff

Our staff is made up of teaching professionals and adults with an understanding of children that learn differently. Over 60% of our staff returns year after year. We have a ratio of 1:3 staff person to camper. We do NOT have high school students or college students on staff.

Do the children have homework and tests?
No, our program is designed to enhance a child's abilities and belief in themselves as we prepare them for the school year ahead. We practice our academics in the mornings and put the books away and have tons of rocky mountain fun in the afternoons and evenings.
