Professional instructors take language learning for teens to a new level. Whether looking to improve your ESL or FSL skills, the summer campus programme at the Collège Jean de Brébeuf in beautiful Montréal is the programme for you. 15 hours of language instruction per week, a bilingual environment combined with fun activities and excursions…it’s a complete immersion programme for students aged 9 – 17 in Canada’s truly bilingual and most vibrant city.
Students are accommodated in single or semi-single residence rooms at the college, they are divided by age and gender. Complete washroom and shower facilities are available on each floor. Programme staff also stay on the same residence floors, ensuring that an adult is available at all times. Meals are eaten in the buffet-style school dining hall. Large, modern classrooms, lounges with email access and a large gymnasium are just a few of the many features of this beautiful campus.
Language Programme: Summer school need not be boring. The educational language programme at Brébeuf is both fun and exciting. International students join Canadian students in a cultural exchange of ideas. Professional language instructors provide a bilingual environment for students coming to learn or improve their French or English. Students indicate choice of either French or English at time of application. Once they arrive, students are given coloured lanyards to ensure that staff communicate with them in their language of choice. Students receive 15 hours of in-class language instruction per week. Placement testing upon arrival ensures that students are in the most-appropriate language level. As they improve…they move to new levels.
Sports and Activities: Students can take advantage of the many sports and activities available on campus during their leisure time including: Basketball, Hockey (best to bring own skates if possible), Soccer, Swimming, Tennis (best to bring own tennis racquets if possible), Volleyball, Water sports in the pool, Billiards, Foosball & Ping-Pong, Art, Movies on campus, Social games, Theme games, Computer use with internet access.
Scheduled Excursions: 1 full day excursion, 1 half day excursion and 1 cultural evening per week are included in the programme. Excursions include Acro-Nature forest adventures & Sugar Bush, a Montréal city tour and full day trips to Ottawa, Québec City or Mount Tremblant. Optional Activities: In addition to the included excursions, students may choose to participate in optional excursions at an additional minimal cost. Examples of optionals include: Jet Boating, La Ronde Amusement Park, Summer festivals, Granby Zoo, movies, museums and much more.
Our Staff: The high quality of the language and excursion programme is further augmented by our staff of sensitive, dedicated and professional instructors and counselors. They truly care about each student, and ensure that students receive the attention and care needed to make them feel safe and secure.
City & Mountain Combo Programme, Brébeuf & Tremblant: A combination programme by registering for at minimum 2 weeks at the Tremblant Language Camp and at minimum 2 weeks at the Brébeuf City Residential Programme is possible.

Brébeuf employs native speaking French and English teachers (often bilingual). There are a maximum of 15 students per teacher in the classroom. Staff live with students on the same residence floors, ensuring adult supervision.
