Looking for sports? ISTC offers week long camps for basketball, soccer, and one fantastically popular all sports program. We also offer a sport and adventure program for ages 15 - 17!

International Sports Training Camp Camp Picture

ISTC is situated in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania on our beautiful 100-acre private lake and pristine grounds. We have a wonderful caring atmosphere that starts with our live-in counselors in our superbly maintained cabins. Our top quality facilities and coaching staff provide our campers with in-depth instruction and our additional recreation activities offer campers both learning and relaxed fun.

Our staff members are carefully selected from colleges around the country or are hired through organizations specializing in international camp staff. Many of our staff return year after year and some were even ISTC campers. Each applicant is carefully screened by ISTC in order to provide our campers with the ultimate sports camp experience!

When can I sign up for camp?
We accept applications year round. You may sign up for camp at any time prior to the session you wish to attend. Each program fills at a different rate, so we suggest that you send in your application immediately. You may download an application from this page or online at www.international-sports.com. Remember, All Sports is our most popular program and typically fills the quickest. Remember to check for the latest availability on our website.

How much does camp cost?
Our 2010 camp prices are listed on the application form, which is downloadable from this page and online at www.international-sports.com We offer early registration discounts.

How do I get on the mailing list?
If you would like to receive our current brochure and DVD, and be added to our mailing list so you will receive our 2010 literature, submit your information on-line at www.international-sports.com or call our office at (570) 620-2267.

Which weeks are still available for this summer?
You may check the availablity of each week online at www.international-sports.com.

How many campers per week - per bunk?
ISTC's total camp population is 260 campers per week. Our bunks are different sizes, but the average is about 18 campers per cabin with a minimum of 2 counselors.

What activities are provided during a weekend stayover?
There is an organized recreational program for campers staying over the weekend. Weekend stayovers are becoming increasingly popular, with an average of 150 campers each weekend.

Do you offer camp tours?
Camp Tours are March 27 & 28, 2010 and April 17 & 18, 2010. Our tours typically last 45 minutes and can be scheduled on the hour from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please call (570) 620-2267 to make a reservation for a tour. Please note, however, we do not recommend waiting until the tours to register for camp as sessions are likely to be filled.

My child would like to be in a cabin with their friend, is this possible?
On the application form there is a space for roommate requests. We honor all roommate requests as long as they have no more than two years age difference.

Will my child be in a cabin with children the same age?
Yes, our campers are housed according to age. Remember, for roommate requests campers must have an age difference of no more than two years.

My child is on medication, how does the camp handle this?
During check-in our medical staff will meet with you and discuss your child's medication(s). ALL medications are kept in the nurse's office and dispensed according to your physician's instructions. Please remember, children should not have ANY medications in their cabin, this includes things such as Tylenol, Advil, etc.
