Dear Camper and Parent
Thank you for contacting us here at The Ranch Camp located in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York State. Our 2010 summer schedule is out and our camp runs from June 27 to August 7. We do have a special 2 week session so please call us at 1 800 613 6033 to find out about this session. Our session dates and enrollment form can be found at www.childrenscamps.com. Signing up prior to Oct. 1 will entitle you to our 2009 tuition rates.
We are an all-girls residential equestrian camp for ages 7 to 17 year olds. We have options of 4 or 6 week programs and our minimum stay is a "special request' (two week program) for first time campers. We can also offer 3 or 5 week stays if your summer schedule permits this. We try to tailor your specific needs with our riding program. In addition we have a teen travel camp for the more advanced rider and for this information please visit our website at www.childrenscamps.com. On the site we have a photo album and virtual tour of the ranch and our tuition fees and dates for the camp are on there as well. If you love horses, ranch life, bbq's, beautiful mountains, the great outdoors and fun, fun, fun, than this is the place to be.
If you love horses, the Ranch is the number one choice! With our
intimate size you will make life long friendships. You will enjoy and
grow in our all girls camp in a non competitive environment and you will
be with your horse from sun up till sun down! .
Riding twice a day (and sometimes 3 times); private one on one
lessons; your very own horse to care for and ride; an indoor arena for
riding in inclement weather; miles of trails and weekly horse shows
turn beginners into stars and experienced riders into competitors.
You will be comfortable in our heated and air conditioned living
facilities complete with private bathrooms and we even have our very own
hair and nail salon (called Miss Kitty’s). We do awesome plays in our
“Barnway” theatre. Swimming in our heated commercial pool will cool you off on even the hottest of days and you can even order breakfast with our short order cook. Even the pickiest of eaters love our food.
Weekly bus trips to exciting places and trips to the beautiful Olympic village of Lake Placid offer a change of pace.

beautiful mountain views and perfect riding weather.... Far from the
stress and noise of the suburbs and cities.
We only accept 25 campers. Space is very limited. If you would like to
