Camp Kawaga is in its 94th Summer of camping. Since 1915, we have provided boys ages 7-16 with an unbelieveable, fun and safe camping experience.  We are a boys’ overnight camp located on 100 acres of beautiful land and water in north central Wisconsin.  Our nearly 200 campers enjoy playing all sports, waterskiing, sailing and a great tripping program during our 4 and 8 week sessions.

We hope you will join us for all 8 weeks, from June 21 to August 13 for the complete Kawaga experience.  If you cannot make it for all the fun of 8 weeks, try either of our 4 week sessions. Our First Session runs from June 21 to July 16, and Second Session is from July 18 to August 13, 2010.  Come join in the fun!!

Camp Facilities

Camp Kawaga sits on 100 acres of land and is surrounded on 3 sides by water.  The set up is fantastic!!  Kawaga has all the amenities and fields for all landsports.  We have 6 full size basketball courts, 2 large soccer fields, 2 permanent baseball diamonds, 2 sand volleyball pits, a full size rollerhockey court, 3 tennis courts and plenty of land and space to turn our fields into anything we want, like flag football fields, track and field/obstacle courses.  You name it, we play it.  Kawaga also has a full size indoor sports facility where we play 3 on 3 basketball, dodgeball, ga-ga and a few games you have never heard of!!

We also do a ton of water activities and sports.  Kawaga is set up on Lake Kawagasuega, and has 2 bays on either side of it.  The bays dead end right at camp, so we get minimal boat traffic and lots of space which allows us to use the lake regularly for camp purposes.  We have an unbelievable skiing program which is enhanced by our permanent water ski course.  We also have a terrific sailing program, and our campers enjoy swimming, tubing, kayaking, canoeing and of course fishing in the lake on an everyday basis.

Kawaga has 30 cabins basically set up in 2 sizes - we have our larger cabins which house 10-16 campers, and our smaller size cabins for 4-6 campers.  The oldest (14-16 year olds) and youngest campers (7-10) typically live in the larger cabins.  Counselors sleep in the cabins with their campers, and we have an unheard of 3 to 1 camper to counselor ratio!!

We have a terrific dining hall (Mess Hall) where everyone eats together with their cabin groups in a family style atmosphere.
