The Rock Farm (TRF) is The Ballibay Camps' two-week Rock Music intensive. TRF's program offers daily lessons in guitar, drums, and/or bass guitar; songwriting and improvisation classes; staff-directed bands; and great performance and recording opportunities. Campers spend most of their day in band rehearsals, music lessons, and individual practice time; while still having time each day to try other activity areas. We are located on a beautiful mountaintop in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Camp meals emphasize health, seasonality, whole local ingredients and sustainability. An on-site garden provides some produce and opportunities for camper participation.

The two weeks include three performances for rock intensive campers: a Band Night in which all of the staff-directed camper bands perform, a Cabaret in which camper-formed bands can perform, and a Solo and Duet Cafe.

Intensive campers also can participate in theatrical evenings of short play readings, monologues, and poetry. During the intensive there is also a Bonfire with performances, a Movie Night, a DJ Dance, and several nights of theatre productions performed by The Ballibay Camps’ three and four week campers.

The Rock Farm is offered in three separate two-week sessions. Arrangements may be made for 4- and 6-week sessions combining several intensives; please contact camp for details.
