Camp Olympia is dedicated to having fun together, helping people grow in body, spirit, and mind. Olympia is a residential sports camp for boys and girls ages 7-16 with individualized scheduling for our 35 different activities, air conditioned cabins, and 1:4 counselor to camper ratio. Our beautiful location on Lake Livingston in Trinity, Texas is the perfect setting for fun, sun and adventure. At the Camp Olympia Junior Golf Academy, campers ages 8-16 receive PGA instruction and have access to the Whispering Pines Golf Club. Whispering Pines is an 18 hole championship golf course built by Nicklaus Designs. Beginner, intermediate, advanced, and competitive golfer are welcome at the academy.

In addition to comprehensive golf instruction, campers will experience the fun of Camp Olympia by participating in a variety of Olympia activities, like waterskiing and horseback, and nightly programs such as beach bashes and dances.

The Camp Olympia Junior Golf Academy is an opportunity to make new friends while developing the skills for a lifetime of golf enjoyment.

Our year-round facilities are great for weekend retreats for your group or organization.

Camp Olympia is located in the Piney Woods of East Texas on beautiful Lake Livingston.  We offer 26 AIR-CONDITIONED cabins. Our facilities include football, soccer, softball and baseball fields; an archery and riflery range; a horseback barn, pasture, arena and riding trails; buildings for arts and crafts, photography, and DVD Production; a large meeting and movie room; 2 basketball and tennis courts; a sand volleyball court; a spacious swimming pool with slide, diving board and trolley; a challenging Ropes Course and our stunning lake front including areas for canoeing, kayaking, sailing, sliding, blobbing, waterskiing and wakeboarding.  Our Golf classes and our Junior Golf Academy have access to the Whispering Pines Golf Club. Camp Olympia has been run by the same directors, Tommy and Kathy Ferguson, for over 30 years.  Camp Olympia's summer staff consists of college-age counselors who are hired based on an interview, background check and recommendations from three references.  We offer a 1:4 counselor to camper ratio.
