Virginia's oldest camp for girls--est 1923. Small traditional camp on 200 mountain acres. Individualized instruction in 18 activities.
SEPARATE EQUESTRIAN CAMP with emphasis on safty, fun and techique. Riding overnights, trail rides, hunt seat, barn managment
Campers sleep in cabins with one or more staff depending on ages. Separate bath house. Large dining hall, miles of hiking trails, lake, river, tennis courts, playing field and shooting sports ranges.
Camper to counselor ration is 4:1. Staff are generally college students or college graduates interested in education or recreation.

| Camp Carysbrook Equestrian Camp is open to beginners through advanced riders. Twenty 10-16 year old girls, with three instructors spend two weeks totally immersed in the horse world. Carysbrook's emphasis is on acquiring and improving equestrian skills, safety and fun. Campers will spend most of their day in equestrian oriented instruction and activities. Click to Close |
