We started offering these exciting horse camps in 1988 and they keep getting better year after year. We teach your children about riding and caring for the horse with safety as our number one emphasis. We have a great sytem that incorporates team work and building self esteem while also making life long friends. The campers ride horses everyday and learn alll kinds of things about horses, like their history, evolution, parts, breeds , colors, medical stuff, etc........ The kids also swim in our beautiful in ground pools set amoung the large oak trees. During the camps we do a little arts and crafts to show off their creative side and we introduce them to the baiscs of archery which is really fun. We also offer several overnight camps. The cowboy camp for boys only is a time your boys can hang out a the ranch and get down and dirty . The boys bunk in our old rustic bunk house and sit around a camp fire talking about the day filled with fun. they ride , rope and swim too. The coed camp is great fro brothersa nd sisters to attend desigend for the horse lover. We also have a very small unique horse show preparation camp. this camp is to help prepare the beginner up to the advanced rider for competing in a hunter/jumper horse show. They will ride 3-6 hours a day improving their riding skillls and conditioning. We will teach them the in's and out's of preparing the horse , the tack and the rider for a show. Friday, saturday and sunday we will compete in a CTHJA recognized show. during this camp the kids also enjoy the hill country at our beautiful ranch in the Texas hill country. They swim and relax by the pool, watch movies and talk in the antique rustic bunk house or maybe go on a trail ride. During our camps we also take the kids on several field trips . To see the wimberley pioneer town and cowboy museum, the local shops, mount baldie and other local attractions like the VFW rodeo or the ok coral to watch a movie on the big screen out door theatrre. We are also with in a hour from the Austin and san antonio airport. WE can pick your child up at the airport for no additional charge. We welcome kids from all over the world. We do speak some spanish but other wise your kids would need to understand and speak the english language . I hope you will choose our wonderful family oriented camp for your child.
