Charis Hills is a Christian, co-ed, residential summer camp specifically designed to help kids with learning differences find success. We welcome kids with ADHD,LD,ED, and Aspergers. With one  to three week sessions offered, we provide exciting and fun camp activities in a Christian atmosphere. Campers will participate in a daily education program instructed by an experienced professional staff. Our focus is on building self confidence, social skills, and independence in a loving environment. At Charis Hills your child will experience healing, education, and growth. We are located in one hour NW of the Fort Worth Dallas area! Contact us today to reserve a spot for your child, camp space is limited.

Camp Facilities

Our facility was constructed in 2009.  Charis HIlls is set in the rolling hills of the Cross Timbers area just 60 miles NW of Fort Worth.  We have 4 cabins which are divided in half so each cabin functions as two separate cabins with each side sleeping up to 9 campers and 3 counselors.  Sleeping arrangements are built in bunk beds with uncommonly good mattresses for a camp.  All the cabins are air conditioned.  Each cabin sleeps a total of 24 people which of course includes counselors.  Each cabin has its own bathroom.  The camp infirmary is set just off the main dining hall.

Camp Staff
Charis Hills is operated by well qualified and experienced professional staff having over 80 years of combined experience in recreation and education.  Our committed and dedicated counselors are our greatest asset.  We screen staff heavily and hire only the most caring and capable individuals.  Counselors complete an extensive training prior to camp.  Our counselor/camper ratio is 1:3 which ensures close supervision of your child and maximizes success.  Counselors are certified in their major teaching area where appropriate (for example, life-guarding, swimming, archery, and riflery). We also have camp nursing staff if your camper takes medication or becomes ill.
