Hey Girls!
You’re invited to spend an action-packed week (or two or more!) with us this summer at American Dance Training Camp! Make new friends and have tons of fun while learning the latest jazz, funk and hip-hop dance moves from our top-notch dance faculty. Dancers of all levels - absolute beginners through experienced performers - are welcome at ADTC!

ADTC has four great locations: Stratton Mountain, VT, Squaw Valley, CA, Nantahala Village, NC and Winter Park, CO. Campers stay in beautiful, fully accredited schools, cabins or hotels in picturesque mountain towns. Our unique locations mean that, in addition to our top-notch dancing instruction, ADTC campers have access to all of the traditional activities you’d want to enjoy at summer camp, as well as many amenities you’d expect to find at a mountain destination resort. At ADTC, we have just as much fun outside the dance studio as we do during class!

American Dance Training Camp Camp Picture

Our facilities feature dormitory, hotel or cabin-style sleeping arrangements; cafeteria-style or catered dining with top-notch food service; activity and game rooms (for watching movies, doing arts & crafts; playing pin-pong, etc.); shower, bath and laundry facilities; dance studios and a "dance canteen" for basic necessities, camp apparel and accessories.

ADTC has four locations all just minutes from renowned mountain destination resorts:

ADTC Green Mountains: Stratton, VT

Our northeast home is the Stratton Mountain School in the picturesque Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. The Stratton Mountain School is accredited with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is also a certified member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). The SMS residential building houses up to 100 dancers per week (2 - 5 per room).

ADTC Sierra Mountains: Squaw Valley, CA

Our West Coast home is the Squaw Valley Lodge, nestled in a valley at the edge of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Mountains of northern California. Campers stay in two-story spacious Loft Condominium Suites with a kitchen and two full bathrooms each. ADTC can house up to 70 campers per week (5 - 7 per loft suite).

ADTC Smoky Mountains: Western Carolina University, NC

In the southeast ADTC campers stay at Western Carolina Univeristy, in between the Great Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. WCU features suite-style rooms (two two-person dorm rooms sharing one bathroom) in the newly updated Reynolds Hall. WCU blends scenic beauty with convenient, modern facilities. ADTC can house up to 70 dancers per week.

ADTC Rocky Mountains: Winter Park, CO

In Colorado, ADTC campers stay at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge in the Rocky Mountains. The Lodge is located directly across from the Winter Park Ski Resort and features a blend of spacious double occupancy hotel rooms, each with their own full bathroom. The Lodge can house up to 70 campers per session (2 per room)

ADTC's dance instructors are members of some of the best national and international studios and performance groups. Our dance instructors are Broadway and MTV performers, Recording artists, collegiate dance team competitors and even Radio City Rockettes! Many of our dance instructors return year after year. ADTC's counselor-to-camper ratio is 7:1.

When can I sign up for camp?
You may sign up for camp at any time prior to the session you wish to attend. Many of our weeks fill up by the end of March, so early enrollment is always advised. How much does camp cost?
Tuition rates vary: we offer discounted rates for "Early-bird" registration, multiple weeks, siblings from the same family and groups of 4 + girls attending camp from the same dance studio. for more information, visit: www.AmericanDanceTrainingCamp.com.

If my child stays for more than one week, is there a charge for the weekend stayover?
No, the weekend is included in the price. However, the camper will need extra spending money for Saturday lunch/dinner and Sunday breakfast/lunch.

What activities are provided during a weekend stayover?
There is an organized field trip for campers staying over the weekend. They are also invited to dinner at a nearby restaurant. Parents should send their child with extra spending money for the weekends.

Can I visit the camp during the week?
For the safety of all campers and to provide all campers with the "total camp experience," no visitation is allowed during the camp week. If your child is staying more than one session and you wish to take her off the camp grounds on the weekend, you may do so on Saturday from 1:00 - 7:00pm or on Sunday from 9:00am - 2:00pm. All visitors must report to the Director upon arrival at camp with photo identification.

How are the campers supervised?
24-hour supervision is provided. The campers are supervised at all times during dance classes, activities and free time. The staff and camp directors live with campers at the school. Our ratio of staff to campers is at least 1 staff member for every 7 campers.
