Using Elk Creek Ranch as a base, the Trek takes a small group into the high country of the Beartooth and Northern Absaroka Mountains. The trekkers learn backpacking, low-impact camping, and wilderness cooking skills. The Trek climaxes with three days of technical rock climbing and ascents.
